Schedule Imports
Hi Team,
Please refer to me request # 627.
(1) While uploading schedules via excel integrations, is there a way we can manage indentations/ outline level? In Schedule integration, I do not see mapping for outline level field (ideally reflected as a MS project file so that #10.1 sits under #10 and #10.1.2 sits under #10.1)
(2) We are currently uploading abridged schedule in Amplify. Thus, we want to manually adjust the dates and progress of parent task rather than parent task deriving dates and progress from sub-tasks/ children. Is this possible?
(3) How do we import custom columns added to a MS project file which need to be mapped to custom columns created in Amplify?

Hi Vipul,To answer your first and third questions:It is possible to add tasks in multiple sub levels. You can utilise the "Outline level" column in the Excel template for this. A task with outline level 1 will be a root task, and the subsequent digits will be the subsequent levels. You can import custom columns added to the MS project file by setting up custom fields in Amplify and mapping them to "Schedule Tasks". Once mapped, they'll be available in the Excel template. To answer your second question, it is currently not possible to manually adjust the dates and progress of the parent task, and I'm not aware of any immediate plans to improve this. We'll leave this post open to see if this is a common need for other users. If there are any updates on this in the future, we'll be sure to reach out and let you know. Thanks,
