The Schedule menu is enabled by default for the program and all the projects within. If you want to disable schedules for the entire program, you may do so using this tab.
Additionally, you can create custom data fields that will display along with other task settings.
To disable schedules:
- Access the Program.
- From the hamburger menu, select Configuration.
The Configuration page opens. - Click on the Program Items tab and then Schedule.
- Click on Enable Schedule toggle to turn it off.
You have now disabled the Schedule menu. Users will no longer be able to view it in the project's top menu-strip.
To define custom fields mapped to tasks:
Ensure that schedule is enabled for the program.
- Access the Program.
- From the hamburger menu, select Configuration.
The Configuration page opens. - Click on the Program Items tab and then Schedule.
- Click on the Edit Task button.
This will display the Properties tab. - Use the options to create new custom fields and map globally available custom fields to the tasks within your program.
