When a schedule is downloaded, it goes into locked status. A lock icon appears on the top right corner of the Schedule tab. A schedule is locked for editing from the time a user downloads it so as to avoid conflicts that occur when other users try to change the same file. This is the reason why the pencil icon does not appear for certain schedules within the parent initiative's table view. The lock is removed automatically when a user uploads the file. If you wish to remove the lock anyway, click on the lock icon that appears on the top right corner of the Schedule tab for the child initiative.
