When you select a Benefit from the Benefits Register the Benefit Dashboard will open. This shows the details of the Benefit. In the example below the benefit has measures and the formula for this benefit has been calculated.
The Amplify Index™ tells you how much of your Benefits are likely to be delivered and the Benefit Progress shows how much has been delivered so far.
When you do not have measures, you can create them using the Plan tab. Refer Measure Benefits section for detailed information.
When using a Benefit Template (set in Administration- Classification Settings) the Properties Widget will display all automatically set attributes.
Below the Benefits Delivery, the attributes of this benefit are listed. Also when a benefit is requested for approval, the approval status will be shown in this list.
On the right side of the interface, the Benefit Visualisation graph is shown. The planned benefit calculates what is expected to be gained from this benefit based on the FMO and the CMO. The forecast benefit calculates what the benefit will be, taking into account the measure forecast and the actuals that have been entered for its measures. The CMO is subtracted from the measure forecast to calculate the forecast benefit return.
When the benefit is part of a business case and is included in the baseline of this business case, the baseline of the benefit will also be shown in the graph. The baseline was the planned benefit at the moment the baseline was recorded.
The bottom of this dashboard will show any contributing Initiatives, and their progress status, (these are self-appointed by the user, they are not automated by Amplify) and any Risks appointed to this Benefit.
Among the other buttons on the far right, you will find the History button. The History screen documents any change over time that has occurred within the Benefit. This tab displays all audit history of the Benefit, as well as user commentary, and automated notifications. Various filters can be found at the top of this dashboard, allowing you to quickly limit the information shown. This dashboard will also show the history of its Measures.
There also exists a Workflows prompt tab, which will appear if you have any upcoming workflow approvals to submit within the benefit.
When a Benefit isn't part of a Business Case, the dates in the Benefit delivery are the same as on the Benefit. When a Benefit is part of a Business Case, the business case dates will be displayed here instead of the benefit dates. When a Benefit is early or delayed, caused by the connection to a project, a new start date will be shown in green or red that will give you an indication on when your Benefit will start now.
In the menu bar on the Benefit Dashboard, you can find a print button. When you click on this button the benefit profile of this benefit will be printed. You can also print all the benefit profiles on this initiative at the same time using reports on the initiative.
In the drop-down menu, you will find an Update Baseline feature various workflow options, the ability to Move the Benefit, and the Excel Import/ Export Feature.
Clicking on the star icon on the far left side of the Secondary Menu will add this benefit to your Favourites. Click on the star again to remove the benefit from the Favourites menu.
When you have opened an archived dashboard, the benefit will not be editable. Restore and Delete buttons are available on the benefit dashboard when the benefit itself had been archived. The restore and delete buttons are not available when the parent of the Benefit is archived.
