When multiple projects are required to accomplish a set of goals and objectives of an organisation, a program is created. Projects may be grouped together and managed as a unit to obtain benefits that may not be achievable if managed individually. A Program is created to achieve strategic business goals of the organisation. Every project within the program is created to achieve one of these goals or a subset of the program level goal.
In Amplify, programs can be structured as a group of related projects, sub-programs, and other activities with a goal that comprises the goals of its components. High-level schedule at the program level can track the progress and interdependencies of its various components. Dashboards and reports can be configured at the program level to monitor and measure the program's efficiency and effectiveness to deliver its intended benefits to the organisation.
